Picking Up the Old Tower

Though heavier than we thought, a whopping 11,000 lbs to our estimated 7000, the clock tower was light enough to lift from the back parking lot. The Keeley crane operators had to weigh down the crane with every weight they had. Lifting the belfry, bell and spire will require us to shut down the busy intersection at the front of the church. We will have to use a much bigger crane, closer to the steeple.
